As part of the 16 days of activism to end violence against women and girls, an annual international campaign starting on 25th November 2023, a community engagement day is being held in Ealing on 9th December 2023 at 11am – 3:30pm. Full address below.

Atrium at Ealing Council, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2HL

The engagement day is being hosted by specialist service providers to bring the community together, understand the issues women and girls are facing and raise awareness of the support that is available in Ealing.

It is free to attend and will be a safe space open to all women and girls to come along at any time between 11am – 3:30pm. The engagement day will include:

  • Opportunity to meet and talk to a range of specialist service providers, as well as the Police and the council’s Safer Communities Team.
  • Access to vital information and opportunities to be involved in shaping how we work as a partnership to end violence against women and girls
  • Childcare and arts/crafts activities for children (including a competition with prizes available for children)
  • Free supplies (essential items such as period pads and/or food)
  • Refreshments (hot drinks and snacks)

All of our employees, volunteers and facilitators who work with children and vulnerable adults are DBS cleared and children are welcome to join these workshops with their parents/guardians present.

If you can’t attend the event, you can find out more about male violence against women and girls, and the help and support available in Ealing to those impacted by visiting the other pages on this website.
