International Womens Day

International Women’s Day (IWD) will be marked on 8 March 2026. The 2026 themes are:

Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls”, which calls for action to remove all obstacles to equal justice — including discriminatory laws, inadequate legal protections, and harmful practices and social norms that undermine the rights of women and girls; and

“Give to Gain”, encouraging a mindset of generosity and collaboration, and emphasising the power of reciprocity and support.

Our local partnership – including the Police, local services, voluntary and community sector, and grassroots organisations – has put together a calendar of events happening across Ealing and in Central London over the International Women’s Day weekend and beyond. These activities aim to inform, empower and support women and girls and to provide space to make connections to protest, mobilise, and celebrate during the month of March. All events are open to the public.
